Kasinathan is Viswanathan's twin brother, a recently released criminal. Shankar recruited him for the kidnapping plot, using Kasinathan's criminal skills and personal grievance against his stingy brother to seize the family wealth.

The story hints at a mysterious twin when Kasinathan first appears as a recently paroled criminal with a grudge.

During the pursuit after Viswanathan's kidnapping, Raja and Vasu tracked Kasinathan's movements and uncovered the truth. Raja realized Shankar had orchestrated the entire scheme, coordinating with Kasinathan to manipulate the family's fortunes.

Shankar's fury at finding Raja had been located, combined with his sudden alliance with a stranger, hints at his deeper involvement.

The gang was sent by Shankar and Kasinathan as part of their plan to eliminate obstacles. They targeted Vasu believing he was Chandrasekhar's son, not knowing the true identity situation. Raja's intervention revealed that someone was actively targeting them.

The attack occurs shortly after Shankar learns Raja has been found in Ooty.

Raja took the driver job to get closer to Indhu, whom he had fallen for in Ooty. Working at the estate allowed him to be near her while also maintaining his disguise as a commoner, far from his father's control.

Raja spots Indhu in Ooty and is immediately drawn to her before deciding to pursue employment at the estate.

Shankar's plan was to drive Raja away from home permanently so he could claim the family inheritance for himself. By swapping the marriage photos and creating confusion, Shankar hoped to ensure Raja would never return and that Chandrasekhar would be left with no heir.

The movie establishes Shankar as Chandrasekhar's nephew with ambitions beyond his station.

The truth is revealed during the climax when Shankar and Kasinathan are arrested. Raja's true identity as Chandrasekhar's son is confirmed, allowing him to finally marry Indhu as originally intended. Vasu, revealed as a con artist but with good intentions, marries Meena.

Throughout the film, the characters struggle with maintaining false identities until the truth emerges at the end.
