Maki, a gifted copper‑plate artist on the cusp of her first gallery exhibition, is hit by a truck. She regains consciousness at home, but stepping outside she finds the streets eerily empty and senses something is terribly wrong. Each day she awakens at 2:15 p.m., reliving the same silent city. Gradually the routine shifts—a phone rings, and she discovers she is no longer alone.
