Truth or Dare

The film opens at an end‑of‑term Halloween party where Felix watches Gemma from afar. Luke offers Felix cocaine and nudges him to approach Gemma, who politely declines. Tensions rise as Chris teases Felix, who is visibly smitten but the moment doesn't go as planned.

Felix asks Gemma out, but she turns him down. Chris taunts Felix and punches him, escalating the tension in the room. Gemma tries to console Felix, and the moment leaves Felix more alone and the group divided.

Months pass after Christmas, and the friends receive an invitation to Felix’s surprise birthday. They discover Felix comes from a wealthy family when they arrive at his residence, a grand but eerie mansion. The address sends them to a small forest shack behind the mansion, where they’re greeted by Woodbridge the groundsman.

Justin, Felix’s well‑trained elder brother, greets the visitors and claims Felix cannot attend due to a flight issue. He invites them to stay for drinks and reveals his loyalty to Felix while displaying a sharp, sometimes hostile, edge.

Justin asserts that Felix’s suicide has brought shame on the family, and he intends to uncover who wrote a revealing postcard marked 'Truth or Dare, bitch!'. He makes it clear that justice will be pursued against those he believes are responsible. The mood darkens as suspicion takes over the group.

Justin introduces a twisted game called 'The Acid Test' and forces Gemma, Chris, and Paul into a cruel dilemma with two identical jars. Chris is forced to choose between water and acid, and later Paul is placed in a similar bind. The test ends with Chris choking and dying from the acid‑tainted outcome.

Jonesy, Luke’s drug‑dealer friend, arrives and is confronted by Justin. Luke performs a dangerous calculation with a gun, offering a choice between a blank or a bullet. He shoots Jonesy, killing him, and Gemma seizes the chance to slip away.

Gemma makes it to the mansion where she encounters Felix in a dire state—alive but bed‑ridden. Woodbridge, the groundsman, arrives and is fatally wounded in a struggle as he tries to defend her. Justin then arrives and kills Gemma, cutting the tension with a brutal act.

Meanwhile, back at the shack, Luke resists freeing Paul and Eleanor, hoping Justin’s connections will shield him. He finally reveals that he sent the incriminating postcard, but Eleanor uses the chaos to carve her own path and rips into Luke’s finger with a bite, causing a fatal fall on a nearby tool.

Paul and Eleanor manage to free themselves and attempt to escape, but Justin returns with Felix, now in a wheelchair. A brutal brawl unfolds; Eleanor shoots Justin in the shoulder and douses him with a jar of acid, dramatically shifting the balance of power.

Eleanor reveals a disturbing truth: Felix wasn’t driven to suicide by a postcard at all, but by a blackmailed video involving Felix and Paul. She confesses she exploited Felix’s fear of discovery for money, and she pulls away with Paul as the night spirals toward disaster.

In a final act of chaos, Eleanor escapes with Paul using a grenade, and the house goes up in flames, killing both Felix and Justin. The survivors are left amid the smoke and ruin as the mansion is consumed by the explosion.
