The story follows Babi Alcázar, María Valverde, a shy, composed teenager from an affluent family, and Hugo Olivera, known as Ache or H, Mario Casas, a restless young man whose nights belong to the thrill of the streets. H, in his signature Siamese style of riding, pushes the limits and escalates the confrontation, tossing Babi into the house pool after she hurls a milkshake at him. In the ensuing chaos, he and his crew damage a car, chase erupts, and even as Babi’s boyfriend drives away, H’s boldness keeps the conflict alive. The morning after, headlines reveal the depths of the night: Babi and H are photographed on the same bike, a symbol of their unlikely bond that shocks those who know them. Katina’s presence in Babi’s social circle deepens the tension—she dates Pollo, which means Babi will see H more often, complicating the delicate balance between attraction and risk. Katina’s own night at the port street race introduces another twist as she ends up entangled with El Chino, a nemesis in the racing world. When the dust settles, H helps Katina escape the police, and Babi again becomes a symbol for a line that if crossed, could redefine everything.

Academia becomes a pressure point, too. A one-night adventure with H, spurred by his volatile response to his own life and family, leads to a moment where Babi’s grades drop after her teacher is triggered by the chaos surrounding her. To lift her spirits, H surprises her with a date in an empty beachside house she once dreamed of owning. The night becomes intimate, but it also marks a troubling turn as H weaponizes the moment, blackmailing the teacher to change her grade and even using her beloved dog Pepito as leverage. The power imbalance and the fear of losing control push their relationship into a more complicated, heated territory.

A violent intrusion by Pollo and the gang into Babi’s home follows, and Babi grows wary of the escalating drama. The couple’s harmony falters as arguments replace affection, and the once-bright future begins to narrow into a cycle of clashes and apologies that never fully resolve. On results day for Katina and Babi, both are relieved to have passed, but Pollo’s presence remains a looming, heavy cloud. Pollo proposes to Katina, requesting H’s presence, as if the old world of danger could be tamed by a public display of union. Yet Babi, tired of manipulation and fear, confronts H, chastising him for his behavior and insisting he stay away for a while.

Heartbreak follows. H sinks into a sorrow that lingers in bed, and Babi attends her 18th birthday party, arriving with a neighborly chaperone, Padre. The evening takes a volatile turn when Padre’s jealousy leads to a confrontation where wine spills and a fight erupts. Babi defends Padre, pushing H away, a moment that underscores how fragile their bond has become. News comes that Pollo and Katina crashed during the race and Pollo died, a blow that shatters H’s already fragile world and leaves Babi terrified of a life that could follow the pattern of danger and loss. Time passes, and Christmas arrives amid a climate of grief. Katina and others mourn Pollo’s death, while Babi drifts away from the street crowd, even dating Padre for a time. H reaches out to try to reconnect, even as his mother’s disapproval and the consequences of their choices complicate everything. A quiet moment when H calls Babi and is met with silence marks a turning point: the distance between them hardens, and both begin to accept that they may never return to what they shared. H confides in his brother Alex and slowly comes to terms with letting go, choosing to move to London for work as a way to distance himself from the memories that haunt him.
