The film follows the Uplifter, an eccentric individual convinced that everything around him is flawed. He becomes obsessed with correcting everyone else's affairs, intervening in others' lives until each situation is as pristine and orderly as he believes himself to be. In this satirical world, the notion of simply minding one’s own business seems extinct, a lost art.
