Gingy McAnally, a former IRA operative freshly out of prison, is drawn back into the conflict. After a brutal mission he’s captured by British lieutenant Ferris, who offers a deal: become an informant for Chief Inspector Dalton. As Gingy betrays comrades, his marriage collapses, forcing him to confront the harsh truth that both sides suffer in the Northern Ireland war.
