Pam convinces a group of college students to trek to an abandoned mine on a remote, forested mountain, promising they will help restore the environment. In reality she is drawn to the area’s folklore and recent paranormal events. Along the way they endure misfortunes and strange mysteries, encounter a reclusive hermit who knows the region’s sinister past, and must confront the evil that has haunted the mine since a tragic disaster in 1845.
