The Wash

Sean and Dee Loc receive a 3-day eviction notice from their landlord because they haven't paid rent. The looming threat of homelessness adds urgency to their already precarious financial situation. The mounting stress strains their roommate dynamic as they scramble to find a solution.

Sean discovers he has lost his job at Foot Locker after Dee Loc's shoplifting leads to the firing. To complicate matters, his car ends up with a boot, trapping him in place. The dual setbacks intensify the need to find quick income.

Former assistant manager Chris returns wielding an AK-47, seeking revenge on Mr. Washington. He opens fire, shooting a kidnapper and spraying the car wash with bullets. Sean engages Chris but is overwhelmed in the ensuing struggle.

Security officer Dwayne arrives and handcuffs Chris after subduing him. The threat is contained, and order returns to the car wash. Sean and Dee Loc survive the ordeal and reflect on what happened.

In the aftermath, Sean and Dee Loc walk away together. Sean tells Dee Loc he's doing his best to pay his half, but first he has to remove the car boot. The film ends with a cautious note of progress and ongoing challenges.
