Set in rural Missouri, a young farmer’s son falls deeply in love with the daughter of their neighboring family. Their budding romance is strained when the neighbor is responsible for the death of the farmer’s beloved foxhound, creating tension between the two households while the young lovers struggle to reconcile their feelings.
