In February 2005 Superintendent Muroi of the Police is arrested for a botched murder case he led. Colleagues Arashiro and Okita try to clear his name but only worsen the crisis. Two rival lawyers—one seeking conviction, the other defense—enter a clash of police factions and political intrigue that could end Muroi's career and expose the truth.
