Elisabeth and her brother Paul live in isolation after Paul is hurt in a snowball fight. To cope, they retreat into a self‑crafted, hermetic dreamscape. Their fragile bond is disrupted when Elisabeth welcomes the enigmatic Agathe, sparking jealousy as Paul becomes instantly drawn to her, darkening their fantasy.
