Bendegúz, a perpetually unlucky teen whose neighbors wish he’d never been born, drops out of school and becomes a cowboy. He is hired by the stationmaster to tend the man’s cows near the railway. Though generous and kind‑hearted, he constantly bungles tasks, lands in humiliating predicaments and clashes repeatedly with the Ugly Witch, the stationmaster’s mother‑in‑law. Despite the setbacks, his good spirit and cheerfulness remain unwavering.
