In the Mediterranean theater of 1941‑42, Axis frogmen and manned torpedoes—so‑called human torpedoes—are striking at supposedly impregnable harbours. The Allies scramble for a counter, turning to the daring British naval diver Lt. Lionel “Buster” Crabb, whose unconventional tactics become the key to confronting the underwater menace.
