Eduard Zuiderwijk (Marco Borsato) runs a restaurant in Africa, but his world shatters when his wife (Ricky Koole) dies, leaving him to raise his son Thomas (Siebe Schoneveld) alone. When Thomas’s close friend Abu (Andrew Kintu) is kidnapped by a rebel leader and forced to become a child soldier, Eduard embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue the boy and restore his son’s trust, confronting the rebels and risking everything for his family.
