George Sanders makes his final appearance as crook‑turned‑detective Simon Templar, “The Saint,” who is called to a Palm Springs resort to protect heir Wendy Barrie and a cache of rare English stamps. A gang of thieves murders and attempts a kidnapping, but the Saint, aided by former associate Pearly Gates (Paul Guilfoyle), foils them. The film is the sixth entry in RKO’s Saint series based on Leslie Charteris.
