After Chow Yun‑Fat leaves his friends Eric Tsang, Stanley Fung and Nat Chan Bak‑Cheung, the trio is immediately taken hostage in a bank robbery. Their capture lands them on TV, making them instant celebrities, yet the city’s top station won’t employ them. Andy Lau offers them a talk‑show slot on a rival channel, where they berate and even beat up irritating guests. At the same time, three attractive women—including Elizabeth Lee and Carina Lau—move in next door, igniting a comedic chase.
