The Queen of Black Magic

Hanif accidentally runs over something on the road but only finds a deer, not noticing a young bloodied girl lying in an unseen trench. The family continues toward the old orphanage, unaware of the danger ahead.

The family is greeted at the orphanage by Hanif's childhood friends Anton and Jefri, their wives Eva and Lina, as well as caretakers Maman and Siti. The place is mostly empty except for older kids Hasbi and Rani, who watch them warily.

While settling rooms, Rani mentions the clubfooted Ibu Mirah who went mad, claiming a runaway girl named Murni was spirited by a demon. The others suspect Mirah killed Murni and locked her in a room until she died.

Hanif takes Jefri to the collision site and they find the girl and the bus carrying dead orphanage children. They place the girl in Hanif's trunk.

Anton investigates the bus en route to the police and is killed by black magic. The event reveals a web of supernatural danger connected to Ibu Mirah and Pak Bandi.

Lina and Eva become possessed and mutilate themselves, while Nadya drives them toward the hospital but keeps circling. Nadya recalls the escape attempt after being told Ibu Mirah had immolated three girls; the past echoes into the present.

Nadya discovers inappropriate photos under Pak Bandi's bed, including Siti, which raises suspicion of Siti practicing black magic. Siti denies wrongdoing but confirms Pak Bandi molested every girl and burned three as a warning. Ibu Mirah had resorted to black magic to protect the girls and kill Pak Bandi, but she died before succeeding.

Mustika wakes and reveals the bus was intercepted by a woman who cursed the group; she survived because of headphones and ran out but was struck by Hanif's car. The information ties the accident to the broader haunting around Murni, Ibu Mirah, and Pak Bandi.

Murni appears and torments them for their ignorance of her family ordeal, claiming that such ignorance is a sin. She is revealed to be Ibu Mirah's biological daughter.

Aided by Rani, Murni forces Nadya to choose between killing Hanif or saving her children. Haqi stabs Murni from behind, and Nadya decapitates her. Murni reattaches her head but is immolated by Nadya and tumbles into the incapacitated Pak Bandi. The family escapes from the collapsing danger.

In the epilogue, Nadya sees a brief apparition of Murni when picking up Haqi from school. Back at the now-sold orphanage building, distant sounds of Ibu Mirah's clubbed foot echo through the halls.
