Elén, raised in a forest with her mother and stepfather, has a singing talent. On her birthday she runs away, meets millionaire René on a train and they fall in love before parting. Violinist Pavel Sedloň also courts her. René seems to die from exhaustion for the operetta *Srdce v delirium*, but is rescued, and Oldřich Nový brings a happy ending.
