Banker T.K. Blair’s presidential bid is stalled when his party finds him charisma‑less. At a traveling medicine show they recruit his look‑alike, smooth‑talking con man Doc Varney, as a public spokesman. Varney even deceives Blair’s girlfriend Felicia, adding romance. With election day near, the party must decide Varney’s fate as he faces own choices.
