Plot Summary
In June 1934, Adolf Hitler initiated a purge of the Sturmabteilung (SA), a paramilitary organization. On June 30th, he arrived at the Hotel Hanselbauer in Bad Wiessee, where SA leaders, including Ernst Röhm, were residing. A three-day operation was carried out, resulting in the elimination of key SA figures. This violent event, known as the “Night of the Long Knives,” solidified Hitler’s power and marked a turning point in Nazi Germany’s history.
