The Night Before Christmas

On Christmas Eve, Jerry emerges from his hole to explore the festive room. He narrowly avoids a Christmas-themed mousetrap placed by his hole. The house is quiet as he eyes the decorations and presents.

Jerry nuzzles around the Christmas tree, leaping between presents and licking candy canes. He hops onto a plush squeaky lion, getting a thrill from the holiday spectacle. His exuberance leads to a slip that wakes Tom nearby.

In a flash of quick thinking, Jerry grabs a nearby 'Do Not Open 'Til Xmas' sticker. He slaps it across Tom's mouth, muffling the cat's growls and attempts to pounce. The sticker marks the start of Jerry's careful evasion of Tom tonight.

Tom volleys after Jerry through a toy-fortified room, the holiday decor buzzing around them. Jerry dashes past a trick field gun and fires a cork stopper at Tom, momentarily distracting the cat. The mouse uses the distraction to slip deeper into the sea of toys.

Jerry hides inside a Christmas fairy light, causing him to glow with a soft, festive radiance. Tom grabs the glowing mouse and is promptly electrocuted by the light's contact. The moment ends with Tom defeated and Jerry unscathed amid the flickering glow.

Jerry hides inside a boxing glove and lands a cheeky punch when Tom comes close. Tom readies another glove for a counterattack, but the Jack-in-the-Box mischief escalates when the glove attached to Jack Punch lands a knockout blow. Jerry reappears victorious, holding the glove up like a boxing referee.

The chase leads to a playful moment where Jerry holds out a piece of mistletoe and persuades Tom to kiss him. Tom blushes, distracted, but as soon as his back is turned, Jerry kicks him in the rear and slips away. The prank buys the mouse a bit more time to escape.

Jerry darts through the front letterbox to the outdoors and away from Tom. Tom sticks his head out and hurls a snowball at the fleeing mouse. Enraged, Tom barricades the slot to prevent any further re-entry.

Jerry trudges through heavy snow, trying to keep warm and survive the cold night. Heavenly carols seem to prickle Tom's conscience, nudging him toward a kinder action. He props open the slot once more, hoping Jerry will reappear and come inside.

When Jerry does not reappear, Tom bravely searches outside and finds the hypothermic mouse frozen into a popsicle. Fearing for his life, Tom brings Jerry indoors and warms him by the fire, slowly reviving him with warmth. A grateful mouse rests safely in a warm corner of the house.

Tom presents Jerry with a candy cane as a Christmas present and the two share a brief moment of truce. Jerry licks the cane, then dips it into Tom's milk bowl to fish out a mousetrap that Jerry had planted earlier. The moment ends with a quiet nod of mutual respect as both retreat a little.

Jerry uses the candy cane to lift the cheese off the mousetrap he hid in the bowl. Instead of snapping, the spring slowly lowers, ringing out a festive tune of Jingle Bells. Jerry smiles at the musical mousetrap while Tom watches, grateful for the holiday peace.
