A narrator intones the opening verses of the poem as the house rests. Santa lands on the roof, comes down the chimney, opens his bag and releases toys that march to decorate the tree—cannon fire and a blimp places the star. He fills the stockings, his laugh wakes the children, the toys rush into place, and Santa climbs the chimney in time.
