Set in a small village on Denmark’s Zealand island, this folk comedy follows a ruthless businessman who schemes to swindle the traditional owner out of his ancestral farm, Svanegården, planning to sell it to the occupying Germans. A courageous group of villagers, including several romantically linked couples, band together to thwart his plot and protect the farm.
