An unscrupulous lawyer plots to seize the estate with the aid of the corrupt farmer Esken. The honest farmer Svend Åge must make the red cow Rosa bellow while Niels Peder yodels, prompting the horse ridden by stable‑boy Morten to sprint to victory on the trotting track. If the lawyer steals Rosa, his scheme collapses.
