In Hong Kong, a crucial document intended as court evidence vanishes from the police, triggering a tense, time-crunched manhunt. Sergeant Shek seeks out the legendary mercenary Eagle Hunter, believing only he can outsmart the criminals who stole it. The loss sets a high-stakes tone that threads through every decision and showdown to come.

A daring break-in at the triad boss's mansion ends with the thieves bypassing security and forcing open the boss's vault. The Eagle Hunter fights his way past a stream of henchmen and uses a clever ruse to coax the boss into opening his own safe. The stolen document lies hidden inside, framing the stakes of the mission.

A letter from Shum Kwan arrives, revealing he has unearthed a mysterious artifact in Greece and wants Andy to examine it. Shum warns he is being tailed by international spies, casting a broader shadow over the pursuit. Andy heads to Greece with his nephew Ban-Ban and his loyal assistant Snooker, hoping to uncover answers and perhaps peace.

On a tour of the Parthenon, the trio unexpectedly crosses paths with Shum, who is in danger. A group of KGB operatives posing as Interpol agents ambush Shum, and a furious chase ensues. Andy, aided by real agents Cindy Morgan and Billy, defeats the impostors and secures a narrow escape for Shum.

Shum is shot by a KGB thug posing as a hotel assistant at Andy's hotel in Greece. He survives but is forced to leave behind a baggage containing the mysterious artifact. Karov, the ruthless head of the KGB, captures Shum, while Andy realizes the danger is far from over.

Back in Hong Kong, Winnie reveals she has had no word from Shum for a month, making the situation personal and urgent. Ambushed by Karov's thugs, Andy, Winnie, and Lo Sai put up a fierce defense as Cindy and Billy join the growing team.

Ban-Ban unlocks the luggage to reveal the jade, a living piece of stone that can speak and perform tricks. The artifact forms a bond with Ban-Ban, while a schoolyard bully is outwitted by the jade through the boy. Lo Sai, fixated on Winnie, enacts a bold bank robbery fueled by the jade but is swiftly locked away in an asylum.

Sergeant Shek informs Andy that Shum has been found at his own home, and both Shum and Shek are dead. Andy is knocked unconscious as the news hits, and Cindy and Billy arrest him on suspicion of murder, sending Winnie into a state of chaos while Karov closes in.

Karov kidnaps Ban-Ban along with the jade, and an assassin is hired to kill Andy with ice bullets. The attempt fails, and Billy helps Andy escape from prison, revealing that his actions are part of a larger plan to expose moles within the police.

The group—Andy, Snooker, Cindy, Billy, and Andy’s sister—launches a bold assault on Karov’s headquarters and fights through a chorus of henchmen to rescue Ban-Ban. The jade activates briefly, guiding Ban-Ban to safety at the police station, but a mole tips Karov off and the traitor is arrested by Billy.

With time running out, the team pursues Ban-Ban to a mysterious Greek island where he has paid for a boat ride. Karov captures him again en route and drives the chase into an underground complex filled with deadly booby traps. In a central chamber they discover a high-tech device and an alien in suspended animation, whose telepathic recording reveals a history of ancient contact between Greece and the alien civilization.

The jade, reconnected with its socket, revives the alien and activates a transport beam as the villain is dragged away by the energy. The jade exhausts its remaining energy and dies, bidding a bittersweet farewell to Ban-Ban, who has grown attached to the artifact. From the ashes of this event, a new jade hatches, signaling a beginning rather than an ending.
