Stage mime Antoine Moreau is forced by the Gestapo to mount a performance for the children of Terezin, the Nazi‑run “model” concentration camp, in an effort to fool Red Cross inspectors. Initially hesitant, he gradually discovers the camp’s grim reality, including the lethal “transports.” With an interned world‑class orchestra and a youthful cast, Moreau creates a production that becomes a haunting act of resistance.
