The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time

Fin and his adult son Gil travel back to the Cretaceous period in a desperate bid to undo the Sharknado apocalypse. Gil vanishes on arrival, leaving Fin stranded in time. A holographic recording from Gil explains that time-travel energy is unstable and that each person can travel only once; any further trips erase the traveler's existence.

The team, saved from their original deaths by Gil, reunites with Fin and the still-human version of April. They learn that the sharknadoes must be chased across eras to restore history. They begin organizing their multi-era mission.

With the help of a pterodactyl tamed by April and a time capacitor built into Gil's flight badge, they fight and destroy a sharknado. They attempt a return to their own time, hoping the act will erase the history of the sharknadoes. The future remains uncertain as time travel's instability lingers.

Arriving in Camelot, the team discovers Bryan has become a woman due to temporal shifts. They meet Merlin, who reveals he has been guiding Gil's past research into using sharknadoes for time travel and explains that Gil's searches through time have unleashed storms across history.

A sharknado forms and heads toward the castle. Fin wields Excalibur, supplied by the past Gil, to blast the storm and trigger another jump. The group continues their quest across time to fix history.

The next jump lands them in the American Revolution, where they partner with George Washington and Benjamin Franklin to fight another sharknado. Their alliance helps them defeat the creature and avert a history-altering catastrophe. After the mission, Bryan reverts to his male form and chooses to stay behind in Camelot.

The trio boards a stagecoach for a leap to the Old West town of Santa Mira. Fin is detained as an accomplice to Billy the Kid's crimes, threatening a major timeline shift. Nova and April meet Fin's ex-girlfriend Skye, and the group works to rescue Fin and Gil and set up the next jump.

Nova, April, and Skye locate Fin and Gil and help complete their escape. They allow Gil to make his own time jump in the sharknado, and destroy it with the eye lasers from April's robot head from a previous timeline.

The next stop is a 1950s beach party beset by a sharknado. They fight it off with help from younger versions of Fin's parents, Gilbert and Raye, who supply a prototype time capacitor. The team plans to jump toward 2013 to stop the Los Angeles sharknado.

Nova sabotages the capacitor's target, sending them to 1997 so she can save her grandfather from a fatal shark attack. She succeeds but at the cost of her own life and April's, while Robot April's head is lost at sea.

A mis-specified jump lands them in 20013, where Robot April has conquered a ruined world with flying sharks and clones. Robot April tempts Fin with visions of their future family, while human April fights to stop her.

Human April awakens and helps Fin confront Robot April; she buys time for Fin to reach the time machine. Fin engages the future threat and prepares to reset history.

Robot April's future-self arrives to steal the capacitor, tearing at the fabric of reality with a pulse that creates a timenado. Robot April's head ultimately helps Fin destroy her future self and triggers a nuclear failsafe to destroy the sharknado and repair time, collapsing the broken timeline.

In the new timeline, the Shepard family and friends are alive again. Fin and April run a bar with Nova, and April is pregnant with Gil. Skye has become a politician, and Fin receives a message from his father in space, signaling a quiet promise of the future as he contemplates retirement.
