The Last Letter from Your Lover

During the mid-1960s, wealthy socialite Jennifer Stirling suffers a car crash that leaves her with partial amnesia. She cannot remember much about her life before the accident or how she relates to her husband Laurence. To make sense of her missing years, she follows clues from a letter addressed to 'J' from someone signing as 'Boot'.

At a summer vacation on the French Riviera, Laurence is dismissive of both Jennifer and Anthony. The next morning he returns with a written apology, which Jennifer forces him to read aloud.
