The Father's daughter was killed by a monster, and his entire life has become centered on vengeance. He lives in isolation, spends his days crafting weapons and a healing elixir, and devotes every hunt to tracking down the beasts that threaten the kingdom. When the bounty is posted for the specific creature responsible for his daughter's death, it becomes his ultimate mission, his reason for existing. The trophy wall of severed heads represents his personal crusade against the forces of darkness that took her from him.

His daily routine of visiting his daughter's grave and tending to his weapons establishes his deep, unresolved grief before the hunt even begins.
