Following World War II, Jewish people arriving from North Africa and the Middle East settled in Israel. Known as Mizrahim, they faced discrimination and were relocated to development towns in the Negev Desert, a policy that continues to affect their descendants. Director Michale Boganim retraces her father's journey, who became a leader within the Israeli Black Panthers, a group protesting this inequality. The film is a road trip through Israeli history, exploring the experiences of three generations of Mizrahim and the lasting impact of this historical policy.
