An Orthodox Jewish father seeks to warn his adult sons against building impenetrable walls between their faith and the wider world. He leads them on an emotional pilgrimage to Poland to locate the family that sheltered their grandfather for over two years during World War II. Though the brothers, like many children of survivors, expect hostility, they encounter individuals whose profound compassion challenges their assumptions and bridges the divide.
