Dominick Hide, a 2130 time‑traveller observing London’s 1980 transport system, lands his craft against protocol. After a predecessor’s fatal mistake erases people from the future, he seeks his great‑great‑grandfather, alerting his superior Caleb Line. In period dress he meets boutique owner Jane, falls in love, and each stay risks changes to history.
