A drama uses abstract‑psychology imagery to probe why actor Massimo has sworn to silence. He only speaks stage lines; his father, a literature professor, reads it as a broken romance, while his mother’s partner sees rebellion. A director commissions his mother to write a play about him; he performs, then returns to silence after the show.
