A loose retelling of Hamlet follows illegitimate son Kôichi Nishi as he rises within a Japanese corporation and marries the disabled daughter of vice‑president Iwabuchi. At their reception, the wedding cake—a replica of the firm’s headquarters—evokes the concealed murder of Nishi’s father, prompting him to set his revenge in motion.
