Terminal Voyage

Set in the near future, Earth has been devastated by climate catastrophe and nuclear war. A century-long voyage is launched to reach Trion, with crew waking from hibernation to uncover a hidden mission purpose. The events alternate between the claustrophobic pressure of space travel and the stark post-apocalyptic reality outside, culminating in the revelation of an Earth-based test facility.

The story largely unfolds aboard a multinational long-range spaceship bound for the distant planet Trion, built to enable future colonization after Earth's collapse. Mid-journey, the crew awakens to a murder-forced power struggle and discovers tampering in the ship's systems, highlighting the fragility of human infrastructure in deep space. The finale shifts to an underground Earth facility, revealing that much of the mission was a controlled extreme-stress test rather than a real departure.
