Ten Hours

Forthright Sub-Inspector Castro takes on the case of a missing girl, who had been brutally raped and murdered. He faces internal resistance within the police station but remains determined to find the culprit. His investigation reveals the involvement of an influential police inspector attempting to bribe his way out of justice.

Castro uncovers that the corrupt inspector was responsible for the girl's brutal crime. Unwilling to let justice be compromised, Castro shoots and kills the inspector. This act marks a pivotal moment in his pursuit of justice and establishes his resolve against corrupt authority.

Years later, Castro has risen to the rank of Inspector at Aathur Police Station. He receives a new case involving the disappearance of a girl near Thendral Nagar, signaling the beginning of a new investigation.

Castro learns that Sowmya was kidnapped in a premeditated abduction. Despite alerting checkposts, the kidnappers escape after killing three policemen, intensifying the urgency of the investigation. Castro begins pursuing the kidnappers based on his deductions.

Castro tracks the kidnappers' vehicle, deduces its color, and successfully captures them. However, Sowmya's dead body has been moved to another vehicle, leaving the mystery unresolved and the suspects taunting Castro over the phone.

Castro responds to a distress call about a girl being tortured on a moving bus. He arrives to find Jeeva, a dead body, onboard with no sign of Sowmya. Castro takes the passengers into custody to investigate further.

Castro interrogates the bus passengers, discovering conflicting accounts about Jeeva’s death. Divya, Jeeva's girlfriend, shares her past elopement, and suspicion about certain passengers, including Kesavan, arises.

Jeeva's corpse goes missing during autopsy but is later recovered. Critical evidence like Jeeva's wristwatch vanishes as Castro connects the murder to key suspects and investigates further, revealing a complex conspiracy.

Castro learns that journalist Janani Narayanan was abducted but is still alive. He tracks down the suspect, Jothi, and confirms the murderer as Velu, the bus driver responsible for killing Jeeva and committing other crimes during a smuggling operation.

Velu reveals that the bus was used for smuggling goods through duplicate buses with the same registration number. He confesses to killing Jeeva and Janani after witnessing the crimes and attempting to expose the smugglers.

Before Velu could reveal detailed information, the crew involved in the smuggling was eliminated, including Janani. Castro discovers that the crimes were orchestrated to rig the upcoming by-election through kidnapping and murder of political figures.

Castro uncovers that Meikappan, owner of Iympon Travels, orchestrated the entire conspiracy to manipulate the election by kidnapping and killing Sowmya, and rigging the ballot boxes with fake votes. The plot culminates with Castro confronting and killing Meikappan.

With Meikappan dead, justice is served for the victims, including Sowmya and Jeeva. Castro’s relentless investigation exposes the criminal network and ends their reign of terror, bringing closure to the case.
