In August 1996, Belgian bus drivers Marcel Van Loock and Wim Moreels are arrested by Moroccan customs after 700 lb of hashish is discovered hidden in their bus. Though company owner says they were unaware, a Moroccan judge sentences each to five years in Tangier prison, where they endure abuse, limited food, no medical care and receive no family support.
