In 1970, young Tunisian Tahar travels to France for the first time to help his older brother, wrongly convicted of murder and held in Paris. Arriving in Marseille, he encounters Tunisians unlike any he knows, enigmatic French locals, and an uneasy atmosphere that forces him to doubt his brother’s guilt, his own innocence, and his sanity.
