Two socially awkward best friends, Seth and Evan, are on the cusp of heading to separate colleges. Jules invites Seth to a party, setting off a chaotic test of their friendship. They decide to stick together and chase one wild night that could redefine their bond.

Fogell unveils his McLovin fake ID plan to score alcohol, signaling the start of their reckless night. The moment at the liquor store initially seems to go through, but a robbery interrupts the purchase. Outside, a mistaken encounter with the police makes them fear Fogell is being arrested.

A helpful motorist offers to drive them to another party if they do not report the incident. The trio accepts, chasing the prospect of more booze and social status. They head into deeper party territory as the night unfolds.

Fogell is driven to the party by the officers who had pulled them over, and the cops surprisingly join in the drinking. The night gains momentum as the police become allies in their misadventure. Fogell enjoys a sudden wave of popularity as his alcohol run seems to work.
