If the city could speak, its voice would be a song. Richie Bloom, the only white teen on his block, joins his best friend Kevin to form an R&B band. With guidance from veteran saxophonist Percy, they create a funky super‑group. Despite limited resources and tough losses, the gritty musicians use wit, street‑savvy tricks and unapologetic Chicago bravado to secure their long‑awaited debut.
