Set amid roaring breezes in the South Seas, the Stooges work as tree surgeons and are hired by a wealthy old man to locate a mate for his rare, pucker‑less persimmon tree. They set sail for the tropical isle of Rhum‑Boogie, where natives capture them and threaten to eat them unless Curly weds the chief’s unattractive daughter. The trio escapes with the tree, battles an alligator, and sails away triumphantly with their prize.
