During their travels, Gerda and her friends encounter Rollan, a lighthearted Spaniard who captivates them with tales of gallantry. His enchanting stories and urban legends pique Gerda's interest and set the stage for further adventures.

Rollan shares a captivating narrative about the Wishing Stone, a legendary object believed to fulfill any desire. This mythical gem is said to be hidden beneath Lake Gao, becoming the focal point of Gerda's mission to reunite with her parents.

Gerda and Rollan embark on an adventurous journey into the forbidden troll caves, facing numerous challenges. Their cleverness and resilience are tested as they evade mechanical sentinels that guard the secrets within.

Upon reaching the underground sanctum, they discover the Wishing Stone, consisting of two elements: the Stone of Fire and Ice. When they touch it, they unwittingly become vessels for the spirits of the Snow Queen and the Fire King, acquiring extraordinary powers.

As Gerda and Rollan attempt to master their new abilities, their powers inadvertently attract the attention of the soldiers serving the troll king, Arrog. In their frantic escape, their chaotic powers cause environmental havoc, creating a sense of urgency.

Reuniting with Orm, Gerda discovers a mystical library that contains ancient troll knowledge. Here, they learn about a curse that binds them to the spirits and the dire consequences they face if they do not break free by sunset.
