Nemuri Kyoshiro, a skilled but cynical ronin, becomes entangled in a clash of corruption and betrayal. The Kaga clan leader, fearing exposure of his smuggling, discovers damning evidence, while his presumed‑dead partner, aided by a master of Shorenji boxing, seeks revenge and his loot. The leader sends the beautiful Chisa to enlist Nemuri, who unexpectedly falls in love. He must protect her, dismantle the conspirators, and survive the boxer’s lethal skill.
