On a cold, foggy night in New York City, the Joseph Pulitzer, the last Staten Island Ferry of the evening, prepares to set off across the harbor. A mix of passengers, including tired commuters, a bickering couple, and a group of women dressed as parody princesses, board the ferry, unaware of the impending horror.

Deep within the hull of the ferry, something sinister awakens, taking the form of Steamboat Willie. Once a joyful mascot, Willie has transformed into a mute, rubber-faced killer, ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting passengers.

As the ferry pulls away from shore, strange occurrences start to unfold. The lights flicker, metal creaks unnaturally, and eerie sounds echo through the corridors, setting an ominous tone for the journey ahead.

One of the bachelorette party members, Cindi, wanders off to explore the ferry and take selfies. She never returns, and her bloodied phone along with her tiara found embedded in a wall pipe raises immediate alarm among the remaining passengers.

With the power flickering and the ship losing control, panic begins to spread among the passengers. Amber, the EMT, attempts to restore order while Pete searches for the captain, only to find an empty control room and ominous drag marks.

Attracted by the sound of music in the galley, Jazzy discovers a warped version of 'Turkey in the Straw' playing on a record player. Unfortunately, this leads to her ambush by Willie, who brutally attacks her with a butcher’s cleaver.

A couple trying to livestream their escape from the ferry experience a horrific turn of events. The man is suddenly harpooned through the head, resulting in his body being pinned to the wall, while his terrified girlfriend is dragged into the engine room.

Deckhand Pete attempts to activate the emergency radio but finds it destroyed. Before he can regroup, he is ambushed by Willie and meets a gruesome fate, strangled by the anchor chain and hoisted from the mast.

Only a few passengers remain: Amber, Diaz, Bella, and Rory. They find refuge in the control room and review security footage that reveals horrific glimpses of Willie stalking previous passengers.

Under the strain of their circumstances, Amber begins to hallucinate, mixing her past trauma with the horrific events unfolding around her. The psychological toll of their situation begins to manifest in disturbing ways.

Bella is drawn away from the group by laughter and a flickering light, which soon takes a gruesome turn. She is impaled through the gut by a forklift driven by Willie, seemingly in a twisted mockery of a parade.

Having ventured into the cargo hold transformed into a nightmare, Amber and Rory discover the bodies posed in cartoonish scenes. This grotesque display reveals the monster's twisted sense of humor and brutality.

In a climactic confrontation, Amber tricks Willie into the engine gear chamber and throws a lit flare into a leaking pipe. The resulting explosion engulfs Willie in flames as he faces her, his white gloves raised in a final farewell.

With the ferry ablaze behind them, Amber and Rory escape in a lifeboat. The horrific night finally seems to be ending as they drift away from the chaos into the cold night.

As the camera pans below the waves, it reveals the charred, skeletal body of Steamboat Willie twitching in the darkness. This hint at his survival suggests that the terror may not be over yet, leaving an unsettling finale.
