The story begins with high schooler Casey Becker home alone in Woodsboro. Her evening takes a dark turn when she receives a menacing phone call from an unknown caller, who starts asking her questions about horror films.

As Casey struggles to engage with the caller, he reveals that her boyfriend Steve is tied up outside, prompting her to play a deadly game. Unfortunately, her incorrect answer about *Friday the 13th* leads to Steve’s brutal death at the hands of the masked figure known as Ghostface.

In a desperate attempt to escape, Casey encounters Ghostface. The situation escalates quickly as she becomes the victim of a vicious stabbing, and her lifeless body is displayed ominously from a tree as a warning.

As the party progresses, Randy Meeks outlines crucial survival rules for horror film scenarios, underscoring the various risks present. His commentary precedes more brutal action as Tatum encounters Ghostface in the garage.

After discovering Principal Himbry's murder, the party descends into chaos. Attendees start fleeing in terror, hoping to escape the horror that has unfolded around them.

Billy returns to Sidney in an attempt to reconcile, but the situation turns deadly when Ghostface attacks once more. In the fray, Gale's cameraman, Kenny, is brutally killed, escalating the massacre.

In a shocking twist, Billy and Stu reveal their identities as the killers to Sidney. They expose their motive for killing her mother, framing her father as part of their sinister plan.
