What Happens in Saint Sinner: Full Plot Summary

The whole story of Saint Sinner (2002) explained, from the opening scene to the final frame: every key event, every twist and what it all adds up to. Read it as a quick recap before the sequel, to check a scene you missed, or to finally understand what really happened.

In 1815 California, Father Michael, William B. Davis, travels to meet the novice monk Tomas Alcala, [Greg Serano], whose order acts as the secret repository for evil, supernatural objects collected by the Church and kept safe. He hands over an ancient statue that traps two beautiful female demons, Munkar Mary Mara and Nakir Rebecca Harrell Tickell. Tomas and his fellow monk Brother Gregory, [Antonio Cupo], unintentionally release these murderous entities, who slip through time to the 21st century via the monastery’s Wheel of Time.

As his brother lies dying, Tomas is offered a chance at redemption by passing through the Wheel of Time with a sacred dagger once used by Saint Nicodemus to imprison the succubi. He accepts the mission and travels through the Wheel, landing in present-day Seattle, a world he does not fully understand. There he teams up with Detective Rachel Dressler, [Gina Ravera], to track down and recapture the rampaging demons.

The creatures hunger across centuries, and their first victim emerges as the bodies soon begin to pile up. When the police arrive at the scene, Tomas is taken into custody, and Detective Dressler remains unconvinced by his strange story. Yet as odd phenomena intensify, the connection between Tomas and Rachel grows clearer, and both realize that stopping these horrific demons will require courage, trust, and a leap of faith.
