RX 100 (2018) Plot Summary Explained

Siva, a well-mannered man from Atreyapuram in Andhra Pradesh, finds himself in a romantic relationship with Indhu, the daughter of local politician Vishwanath. However, their love story takes a tumultuous turn when Indhu reveals that her father is planning to marry her off to a man named Mahesh. Indhu suggests that they should refrain from meeting until she can persuade her father to accept their relationship.

In a bid to secure their future together, Siva seeks the help of Daddy, who promises to talk to Vishwanath about their intentions to marry. Tragically, during their journey to Vishwanath's residence, Daddy has an accident and is hospitalized. Subsequently, Vishwanath flatly refuses to bless their union, insisting on marrying Indhu off to Mahesh and sending her abroad to the USA. This rejection leads to dire consequences for Siva, who faces a brutal assault at the hands of Vishwanath’s henchmen when he attempts to intervene during Indhu's wedding.

Bitterly enraged and heartbroken over losing Indhu, Siva transforms into a vengeful and ruthless figure. Two years later, in a fit of rage, he retaliates against Vishwanath by attacking his men and incinerating his properties as an act of revenge. The tides shift when Siva learns of Indhu's return from the USA; driven by emotion, he creates a scene in front of her home on two separate occasions.

In an unexpected twist, Daddy informs Siva's friend that he had overheard a shocking conversation between Indhu and Vishwanath. To both their dismay, Indhu confesses her true feelings for Mahesh, revealing that she had manipulated Siva for her own desires. Realizing this, Vishwanath comes to believe that Mahesh is more suitable for Indhu than Siva. However, their joy is short-lived when Daddy, after leaving Vishwanath's house, suffers another accident.

As the story unfolds, it becomes increasingly clear that Indhu is not the loving partner Siva envisioned. Instead, she emerges as a selfish, cold-hearted woman who uses others for her own advantage. Despite knowing the truth about her character, Vishwanath continues to protect her, even going as far as sending threats to Siva to keep him away from Indhu until she and Mahesh depart for the USA. In a desperate and cruel turn, Indhu bribes Vishwanath's men to eliminate Siva.

In a climactic encounter, one of Vishwanath's thugs stabs Siva and exposes Indhu's treachery. Heartbroken and devastated, Siva confronts Indhu at her home, bruised and near death. He curses her, saying that her future will be plagued by guilt and that her life now lies in his hands. This emotional confrontation leads to Siva's tragic demise, leaving both Daddy and Vishwanath to grapple with the consequences of their choices, marked by loss and heartbreak.
