In the picturesque village of Snow Mountain, Bodi, a Teenage Tibetan Mastiff, prepares to take over as protector from his father, Khampa. Khampa has previously defeated a pack of cunning grey wolves led by the villainous Linnux, ensuring the safety of their village with clever tactics.

Bodi struggles to master the powerful Iron Paw technique, which requires him to connect with his inner fire and passion. Despite his efforts, he finds it difficult to reconcile his desires with his father's expectations, compounded by Khampa's prohibition of music in the village.

During a training session, a package falls from a plane, introducing Bodi to the exhilarating sound of rock music. This moment becomes a turning point as he becomes captivated by Angus Scattergood’s performance, igniting his passion for music.

Bodi, inspired by his love for music, begins to craft a Western-style guitar from a traditional dramyin. This decision leads to tension with Khampa as Bodi's rebellious spirit clashes with his father's strict rules.

A chaotic incident occurs when Khampa, accompanied by some sheep, inadvertently triggers a village alarm. In an attempt to teach Bodi a lesson, he makes a misguided decision that complicates their relationship further.

The village elder, Fleetwood Yak, supports Bodi's dreams and persuades Khampa to let Bodi pursue music. As a result, Bodi receives a bus ticket to the city but must abandon music if he fails in his endeavors.

At the bus station, Bodi falls prey to Riff and Skozz, henchmen working for Linnux, who kidnap him in a scheme to seize control of Snow Mountain. This event reveals the dangerous world that lies beyond the village.

Upon arriving in the city, Bodi aspires to visit Rock and Roll Park, a pivotal place in Scattergood's career. However, he faces disappointment when a snow leopard named Trey steals the spotlight in a guitar contest, crushing Bodi's confidence.

Bodi makes his way to Scattergood's lavish home, only to find the famous cat struggling with a creative block. Scattergood’s manager gives Bodi a three-day ultimatum to inspire a new song, setting high stakes for both.

Riff and Skozz mistakenly kidnap Scattergood instead, leading to a series of comedic misadventures. Once realizing their mistake, they drop him back home, only to be sent after Bodi again.

Inspired by Bodi’s performance, Scattergood invites him into his home to create a new song titled 'Glorious.' However, Bodi soon discovers Scattergood's selfishness as Scattergood takes credit for their collaborative work.

After being captured by Linnux’s henchmen, Bodi cleverly uses a boxing match against them to escape. This marks a turning point as he reclaims his freedom and determination to pursue his musical path.

Feeling remorseful for his previous actions, Scattergood sets out to find Bodi after being confronted by his robotic butler about his exploitative behavior. His journey to Rock and Roll Park becomes one of redemption.

Scattergood and Bodi reunite just outside Linnux's lair, where Scattergood hands Bodi his acoustic guitar as a gesture of solidarity. They then decide to return to Snow Mountain, intent on stopping Linnux’s sinister agenda.

In an epic battle against Linnux, Bodi channels the power of music to rally the villagers and even the wolves. The performance of 'Glorious' transforms the atmosphere, leading to a climactic confrontation and ultimate victory.
