Pluto watches over a western flock of sheep while a coyote prowls nearby. Pretending to have a broken leg, the coyote lures Pluto away, then darts forward to attack the herd. When Pluto returns, he discovers the predator has already trapped the flock and is pursuing the lone black sheep. The pursuit culminates when a falling rock spire collapses on the coyote, creating a stone silhouette of the animal at the very top.
