Mary, an impulsive romantic, marries British aristocrat Lord Philip Rexford on a whim. Their marriage becomes happy and deepens over years. A vacation on the Italian Riviera reunites her with former lover Tommie, and gossip fuels Rexford’s suspicion, prompting a divorce. Mary must choose between the husband she truly loves and the man from her past.
